(1/6) B: "This is our third baby. I carried all three, but this is my wife's first biological child. I had chronic low supply with all of my babies because I have insufficient glandular tissue. It’s always been a real struggle, but each baby has found a way to nurse and bond with me in their own way. My first baby nursed for a whole five years despite the low supply. I did tandem nurse for a while, but due to the low supply, my second actually did not keep nursing longer than about three months despite everything we tried. When he was a little older, he would suck on his pacifier and put his head against my other breast while his sister was nursing. So I was exclusively pumping for my baby while still nursing my toddler. They both got a large amount of their nutrition from supplementing because of my low supply."
