(3/4) “Right now I’m lucky to be pumping about twice what my daughter can drink a day. So I am freezing all the extra. It’s just sort of come together that I have been connected with moms who needs extra milk. A friend of mine had noticed there was a mom looking for gluten-free breast milk online. I hadn’t even thought about it, but I have celiac disease, so I don’t eat gluten, so she was able to connect me to that mom. I helped another mom who has been struggling with low supply. Just recently on a completely unrelated national Facebook mom group, a mom had just found out she has cancer and is going to need to have a mastectomy before her baby is born. It just so happens we live really near each other, so I dropped a bunch off for her too. It’s been really neat to see, that even though we have missed out on this breastfeeding connection, my daughter and I, it has really been a blessing as well because I would never have known I had this over supply or was capable of making this much milk. Being able to help this many people who really need it, it’s amazing.”
