(4/4) "Sometimes it’s tough, I still get breastfeeding envy. You start feeling like “Why can’t i do what all the other moms do?” But I finally got over it. Everyone says breastfeeding is a bonding experience, but you know what, my daughter and I have still bonded, and have an amazing relationship. Through pumping my husband is able to help with feeding her too, and it’s given him opportunity to bond with her. Which is something I feel was really important. I had been to three classes that had talked about breastfeeding before she was born, but when I held her in my arms for the first time, I still felt unprepared. Exclusively pumping has really worked for us, and we have a good thing. I should have enough frozen that by the time she is 6-7 months old I can stop pumping and still have enough to breastfeed her through the first year."
