(5/6) B: "We’ve had a lot of really sweet experiences. Like one time, she came home late from work because the bus was late, and it was kind of a stressful day. I remember you laid down in bed and said, “I just don’t have the energy to pump tonight, I’m going to pump tomorrow” and I said ok. And the baby woke up a few minutes later and started nursing, and you got up, and you were like “ok now I have to pump too, because I’m having a let-down.” It’s just kind of cool to be with someone who understands what that’s like when your body reacts to your baby in this very visceral way… she really understands what I’m going through and she understands what it’s like to deal with a baby who’s having trouble latching, or who you can’t fully satisfy with the supply you have."
